couple of questions after taking the test. 2 questions are the are asking best exposure for implant procedure? there is a question about what type of gloves are used for exposed xray in the pt’s mouth? it wasn’t sterile vinyl, cannot be latex as per so many allergies, i cannot imagine using utility gloves for anything besides instruments? repeated exposure of pans keep getting lighter what is the correction?
Hi Misty, For the implant question. I don’t know which choices you were given on that particular question but it does matter. So in this order. What is the first exposure for an implant — periapical. Then which is the best Panoramic, CT scan then Cone Beam. So if they only gave panoramic that would be best but if they gave you the cone beam choice than that would be best.
For the other question latex answer or examining gloves are usually the correct choice. Vinyl gloves as a correct choice is usually only correct when they bring up the allergy issue. So it seems that you are too smart for them.
On the Pan getting lighter was the developing solution being old or over used a choice.
Be aware that most of this is with analog not digital so think of processing factoring in.
I hope this helps but keep asking the questions. Gail
